Welcome Trailblazers!

 

It’s hard to believe this is the third year Summerwind Trails School has been open.  It’s been so fast!   I am so proud to be a part of this dynamic and exciting organization.  Our staff continue to amaze me with their commitment to our students.  It’s exciting to see how our students have grown both academically and social-emotionally over the past few years.  

 

As I enter my 17th year in education, I consider myself very lucky to be a part of Beaumont USD.  This organization is student centered, innovative, and forward thinking. I love being an educator because we are committed to lifelong learning and all that learning benefits our students.  I also believe that all students need to feel a sense of belonging at school and our students do feel that way.  

 

I am thankful for all our students, families, and staff.  I am thankful for the relationships we have built over these three years.  I am also thrilled to begin this new year and see all that our students will accomplish in the 23-24 school year. 

As always, I look forward to working with each of you as we continue to make Summerwind Trails a place that is inspiring and engaging for all students.
